The Guilds Inn is a miniature painting event weekend hosted by the Sydney Display Painters Guild.
It will be a whole weekend dedicated to hobby activities, organised painting sessions, fun speed painting comps and social hanh. The event will also host the seasoned Guilds Inn national painting competition, with entries to be submitted and judged over the weekend.
The painting competition features a Standard and Master category. In addition, we will be setting up the Guilds Inn Gallery where participants can submit past entries or works they are proud of and don’t want judged in the competition, for the general community to view.
The Guilds Inn is a not-for-profit event run by volunteers, focussed on the miniature painting community coming together. We are spread far and wide across Australia and have too few chances to meet, so the goal is to create a fun and worthwhile opportunity to connect with each other in person, share our work, talk about what we love, and enjoy the social side of miniature painting.
The 2025 Guilds Inn will be held on 30 and 31 August 2025 at a new venue: Crows Nest Community Centre.
Anyone is welcome to attend for all or part of the fun, and we will do our best to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all our visitors.
